Willow Update and Fun for Whitney

We are nearing the end of the school year and Whitney's school had a 5th grade dance for a farewell dance before the leave to another school for their Middle School years... it was a Luau theme...Whitney won 2 contests and her trophy was a coconut and a Pine apple... here she stands with one of her classmates who also won a coconut.... she had a (fake)parrot on her shoulder before but the Bird didn't survive the night of dancing...the poor fake parrot was found stomped on the floor........

oops? how did this get in here....anyway... the next time I post Bull his Barn will be stained a dark red....

Now.......WILLOW update!! she is a trooper. she did so well during the surgery and waking up from the anesthesia they called us to come in for a visit to see Willow she wagged and wagged her tail and tried to stand up...They said she could come home with us since they saw how happy she was to see us...The said they normally wouldn't let an animal go home the same day with that type pf surgery but she seemed well enough and gave us strict directions for her before we took her home.. we wrapped her up in a baby blanket and she sat with Brad on the way home...she was like taking care of a new born baby...we got up with her during the night to help her with her pain, carried her outside all hours pf the night to go potty and to make sure she was comfortable in her crate. she loves her crate. we let he hop around the house a little but if she sees the door of her crate open she will hop on in and lay down... she knows it is her safe resting place. we took the lampshade thingy off. she has not even tried to lick her incision at all...she lets me apply a warn compress to it and clean it... she is taking this well and is such a good lil patient.

I counted 20 stitches...thats a big incision for a lil Puggy

Whitney and Daddy giving her Loves

she was shaking so bad when i was taking these pictures....she was so weak...she only sat like this for a short time...Poor lil baby.

Here she is at home resting in her Crate.... Brad had her up on the bed in her crate lastnight watching tv together.... this is his nighttime Buddy and he thought she'd like to still have their tv time together so her carried her up into the bed in her crate....

catching up on this and that.......

I failed you all again....I thought I was going to get better with my postings... but I wanted to catch up a little. Now that my girls are on an airplane on their way to Florida to spend a week with their Grandmother I have a free few minutes to do a little post.

My girls left the house at 5am today to head to the airport to fly out to spend a week in Florida at their Grandmothers house along with their cousins Kendall and Kayleigh, they are all the same ages and are very close. My MIL is a brave woman to take on all 4 kids actually the older girls Tori and Kendall will have their own place. My MIL owns a few units at a senior park and the one next door is vacant so the older girls will have that one to themselves, they have big plans for the week one includes a boat taking them to a private island for a day of fun in the sun shopping and relaxing....and maybe to a theme park of their choice. Now that I have my horse at home it is hard for me to get away.....although we did make a week vacation reservations in Maine on the coast in July. I found Horse care for the week we are gone. so now that my girls are gone I'm going to do some spring cleaning toss things away with out them digging them out of the trash. getting some work done around the house and I think Bradley and I will take a day off and head to the ocean for the day to walk around. we love the ocean, way too cold to lay out but it is nice to walk on and enjoy the view. other than that we will be working and doing things around the house.......

Turbo is posing for the camera...it is rather blurry...I took this with my cell phone

sweet Coal... looking out the window

well this has been a interesting few weeks.... the other day when I dropped Whitney off at school another parent was not paying attention and she drove into me just as Whitney was shutting the door of the car! doesn't look bad but her license plate actually was stuck to the back of my bumper...she had to pull it off...so now the woman's place is visible on my back bumper! we didn't call anyone we just left and didn;t want to make anymore of a scene and hold the school buses up...

another accident caused my Mother nature.... we went to pull our camper out and clean up the site for the new family coming in to take our site...come to find out............

a tree fell into our camper and made a big old hole right through the roof!
see the big branch pierced into the camper roof?..........not good.! so we brought the camper home to clean out the camper to have it fixed..........sighhh

Bull~Run and Whitney's cat have become great friends...they play together all the time and when I bring a flake of Hay out for Bull to eat Whitney's cat will use the hay as a bed and Bull will eat the hay around the cat....they cat will just lay there wagging his tail as Bull nibbles away.

we set up Bull's playground up so he has access to Whitney's Bedroom window....sometimes he will sit at her window until she opens it and hands him treats, his favorite treats are...Carrots. Peppermints and Maple Frosted donuts.......... so whit will open her window as she sits on her bed and visit with Bull......

He is so special....... can't imagine not having him. not a very good pictures...as most of you know I have tattoos...most of them are for my pets in my life...paw prints on my feet and wrists... last month I got another one...this time I got a horse-shoe tattooed behind my ear. so when I'M not with bull I can always hear his gallop and clip clop of his shoes.... just like why I have Turbo's paw prints on my feet...when I not with him he is always there at my feet like he always is....

The tattoo did not come out how I wanted...I was rather bummed but I have to deal with it...it could be worse but.... I told him I wanted a horseshoe the size of my thumbprint...I think he went by his thumbprint and he gave me a DRAFT horseshoe...not the one I shoes him... and I wanted a few stars..he gave me more than I wanted....( UGH) oh well.... it is what it is...Im fine with it now...either way it is a symbol of my horse so It's all good....

I have been riding Bull here at home but just in his Paddock ( Playground) Im trying to get him used of the road and the cars that drive past....I have been walking him up the road a few nights a week to get him familiar and used to the cars...so far so good...we turn a few heads as passerby drive by...it is not like when we walk the pugs up the road.... either it is Bull they are looking at or it is me in my capris wearing my big rubber barn boots....( snicker)

I need a sign what hangs from his tail that says... Caution"WIDELOAD" lol

Horsing around

Well so far we have survived 4 nights with having Bull here...it is so different having a horse at your home rather than at the barn. Here I am all alone, with no one to turn to if I need help. Gah! But I can do it I know I can it is just so different! I have set up all his vetting appointments the Vet is coming on St.Patrick's day for Bull-Run's farm visit...all his shots, de-wormers and sheath cleaning...( I have dont this but not something I can say I enjoy doing...) (Sheath cleaning is...Cleaning his manhood!) His farrier Blacksmith is also coming the following week to take off his snowshoes and trim his hoofs and put on his regular shoes....hopefully by then most of the ice will be gone! I have been careful letting him out much since we have so much snow and banks... and it is pretty icy. Whitney and I sanded alot of his playground but a little too slippery for me to be comfortable letting him on his own... I let him wonder as i Mucked out his stall and filled the water buckets.

as he wandered around checking out his new area he trotted around in the deep show kicking the snow up behind like he was excited...

Does this jacket make my Butt look Big?

Bull found out that that wire fence will bite him when he gets too close....

Me talking to him telling him not to escape...if he escapes I have to call the police department so they can block my road so we can get him back safely....... I pray this will never happen!
Bull loves being up near the house...we made his paddock up past the house so Whitney can visit him from her bedroom window on the side of the house...

Whitney has been really good about helping out...she groomed him since he is shedding his winter coat.

So far so good...I decided to not go with a pasture mate right now...too much to take on at the moment...maybe in time I will get a Mini for him. But for now. I have my hands full with 4 Pugs and Bull...

HaPpY Birthday Belle!

HaPpY 3rd Birthday Belle!
Well...since today is Belles Birthday I couldn't get angry with her for eating out of the Cats Kitty Food jar...

Oh Shoot! Momma Caught me!..........So much for my Birthday treats!

Maybe this is the reason Belle has packed on so much weight! ...to much kitty food on the side!

Coal and Turbo are doing well...Coal is such a Monkey..we call him Monkey he is such a Puppy still and is so active. it is funny to see these to together...because Coal is so busy and all OMT does is sleep and eat.. Coal knows that OMT is not doing well. Turbo is having more medical issues and has been at the vet more and more. he still has bad and sore ears and Coal licks them all the time and licks OMT's eye we have started to also call him Dr. Coal. he is always doctoring OMT. OMT is now completely blind and when we let him out to pee the snow disorients him and we have to go out and pick him up and Carry him back in...he has a hard time finding his way around in the deep snow. ( Poor Fella...makes me sad) we think his hearing is alot worse now too..he does not respond to us like he used to....well he will be 12 years old next month so it is to be expected I guess... all in all he is a pretty Happy senior Pug with so much Love. He will sit and lick you all over your face and want his 37lb. body on your lap! he is HUGE! But no matter how heavy he is always welcome on my lap.

Willow is doing Great...she is just a Mother Hen..She wants control of all the Pugs...we have had her the longest so I think she must think since she was the first Pug in the house she thinks she has all the Control over the Pugs.

Coal.....I swear he tels me every day THANK YOU for adopting him...he has a funny way of communicating with me...it is like he is really trying to say Thank you for giving him a Forever home.

we has a little more snow over night...I took these pictures on my way to work this morning....

I know..lots of posting tonight...
a few months ago I came across this young woman who owns a business and she makes jewelry out of your Horses tail.... so I contacted her and she told me what to do to get a good Clipping of BULL's tail for her. I mailed it to her and this is what she came up with..
a bracelet of Bull's tail clipping...with a Heart on it that says..Live to rideI got to play around with Bull for a little bit today after I finished up my chores at the barn...
he got a good grooming and brushing and alot of TLC.... we are getting closer to bringing him home soon...still getting all the supplies we need for him ...electric fence, order his barn, and all the accessories we need for him....even looking for a pasture mate for him...
speaking of Bull and my Pugs.......... this is one of my many favorite Gifts from my Mom and Dad for Christmas.... an old Vintage sign....

wishes do come true....

UPDATE!!!!! as of today September 28th....BULL IS Now MINE!

I'd like to introduce our newest family member........

As of the end of this week.....I will be the proud owner of Bull! Yes we are buying him!!!!!!! yeah! He has been my training horse and just went up for sale. Bull and I have created a great Bond and we make a great team. I can't stand the thought of him being sold and leaving me...so I talked it over with my husband and gave it a lot of thought and we decided it is the right time to do so. We are boarding him at the stable until our property is ready for him to live here with us. Most likely not until spring/summer. we have lots to do and have to build him a barn and have it all fenced in...so that nice big hill and field behind my house is Bulls future home.......so until then we will board him at the stable until we are completely ready to bring him here and maybe by then we can find Whitney a horse so he can have a pasture friend....
I go and ride Bull 4-5 times a week.... more if I can squeeze it in. Whitney still is riding Zee and is almost ready to show....we are going to a big Horse show next Month in Massachusetts. and is very active in her Equestrian 4H
Check out my new Helmet I bought....Hot PINK!

Bull and Secret....this is his pasture Buddy at the stable.
So now I have to give up my COACH addiction, getting my nails done each week. I need to save as much Money as possible now. so now I have stubby fingernails and I am finding it so much easier to type not having nails....I should of stopped having them filled a long time ago!

Sorry that these pictures are small...I took them with m Cell phone I wanted to share Whitney's sweatshirt I bought her a few weeks ago......

This saying is sooooooo true!

it says.....Here is one little girl who rather clean a stall than her own room.....
see what I mean? here she is pushing a wheelbarrow full of horse Poop!after we rode I decided it is time for Bull to have a bath.....I bought him AXE Body wash...now he really smells like a Man! forget about all that fancy Horse shampoo...I got him the nice smelling stuff!

When I was bathing him I noticed he has the CUTEST BELLYBUTTON! I tried to take a picture of it but.. it didn't work too well seeing how I had to squat under him to get a god shot...as I tried he Pooped! so no Belly Button picture!
