Off to the Christmas tree Farm

Gee wizz it is that time of year already! Time to pull out the Christmas Decorations, Christmas lights for the yard and trees... and off to the Christmas Tree Farm and If I knew pets were allowd I would of brought the Pugs with me! we have come here the past few years and I never realized you can bring your family dog. Bummer I will have to remember this next year. It was so warm. which was nice after last years trip to the farm. Below zero temp and so much snow. No fun cutting down a Christmas Tree in a pile of cold snow... This year was nice. easy walking, the snow didn't cover the tree stumps of trees that were cut down...we all tripped over a few of them last year. LOL
At the Christmas Tree farm they have a train wagon that picks you up and brings you into the tree area gives you a saw...you walk and walk until you find the tree you want. OMG this can go on forever this place is sooo big! after you cut down your tree you drag it to the path where a hay wagon picks it up and loads it for you. you can ride back on the hay wagon if you choose or you can walk...we decided to walk back seeing how it was so nice out. There are a few cottages that are rentals for the summer but during the Christmas season they turn them into ...one is a Hot Cocoa and Hot cider cottage, another is store to buy Wreaths and ornaments, the other one is a Photo Cottage to get a Photo with Mr and Mrs.Santa Clause. so much to do there.. W swinging on the antique chairlift turned into a swing.............

Santa posing with us.................

W waiting for out Train wagon.....

Me and T on the train...............

Searching for the right Christmas tree....................
Still looking for the right Christmas tree...........
I never got a picture of the tree when we chose it...sorry but here is T dragging it to the trail for the hay wagon to load it for us. once they load it they bring it to that big red barn in the picture and the twine it and load it into your car or in theTruck for you.
Pugs checking out whats moving in for the next month.....
Wha Laaa! and you got a Christmas tree!
Do you notice the bottom is not decorated much??? I give you one guess why?

Willow and Belle can't seem to leave the ornaments alone! they kept taking stuff off the tree so I decided to take the ornaments off the bottom to be on the safe side....Silly Pugs....

To ALL my Canadian Friends out there!

I have so many of them in my console in my car and in my change bucket at home . we are able to us the Canadian coins in stores but our vending machines do not accept them..by any chance do our American coins get into your pockets as well??? if so are you able to use them in stores like us? Sandy? do they get down near you? I am wondering if we see them here because we are just about 3-4 hours which is about 350 miles away... to the Canidian/United States Boarder....... American Coins

My Grandpap looking over us....

I lost my Grandfather a few years ago. Who I miss very much. (as I do my Grandmother too) My Grandparents have always had a love for birds especially cardinals. I get my Mother a gift that has something with a cardinal..such as a candle-holder, a stain glass suncatcher on what would be my Grandfathers Birthday (September 1st) When my Grandpap passed on he left me some money and I decided to get 2 trees planted. The day The tree was put in a Cardinal flew and sat on a branch...a few days later we saw a female cardinal We believe it was my Grandparents saying thank you for planting 2 tress in memory of them...so since this happened each time we see a cardinal we believe it is my Grandpap letting us know he is around watching over us.

Unlike a lot if people I like Tattoos...especially if there is a story behind it, I love to lean the meaning of someones tattoo.
I miss my Grandpap I know he is watching me and my family so I decided to show the world my Grandfather guiding me and my family as he looks over us from heaven..........a tattoo on my right shoulder I had done today....

Here is my Grandpap guiding us...watching over us from Heaven...As he holds us close on a necklace and the pendant on the neck lace represents My Husband, Myself embracing our 2 daughters. the circle of family love pendant.

Sorry Mom and Dad...I know how you feel about tattoos but this one means so much to me....

Where is the snooze Button?

Willow is a late sleeper...she loves to be under the covers. as soon as we go to bed she is already finding her way under the covers. Her favorite spot is in the middle right between us leaning right up against Brad. She is a Daddy's girl. She will sleep longer than anyone. I used to like to make my bed right away...now I have to wait until Willow decides to get out of bed. there are days she is still sound asleep at 8:30 am. long after I get out of bed. After that I have to wake her up so I can make my bed and get her to her Breakfast before Belle eats it on her...... Don't wake the PUG! a Pug needs Beauty Sleep.

Another goodie box in the mail from our favorite Friend from Florida!
Willow and Belle are sniffing out the loot in the box! Hand Picked Satsumas from Sandy's yard. Satsumas are unheard of here...they are between a Orange and a Clementine.......Supper juicy and very tasty!
Sandy also put in her book that I told her that I was interested in reading....Thank you! I haven't started reading it yet..I am waiting for snow and bad weather when I will have more down time inside. I may wait until January and read on the airplane when I go to Florida.
Willow is really taking an interest in the box and paper..she must smell Sandy's fur kids.
Yummmm....Pecans!
Home made Jam! which is great on Raisin Toast!
Satsumas....W brought one into her Teacher for a snack...this is healthy snack week at her school.
Getting ready to roast the Pecans with Butter and Salt.........
I made some for us and I sent some roasted Pecans over to my parents home for them to enjoy.....

Thank you Sandy !

A lot is changing in Willow and Belle's yard

Belle and Willow are checking out the new culvert that is going to be put in at the end of the driveway, The end of the driveway keeps getting washed out each time we get a heavy rain.
So this culvert will be put in to allow the rain water to run through it rather than wash out our driveway..........
Here is another thing going on..........See that big pile of DIRT? that is getting dumped behind our garage to extend our yard out....behind the garage is a big bank...a long way down and wasted space. We live next to a water treatment plant and they are having new pipes put in the ground and they are giving..yes I said giving us all the dirt that they dig up.! They are saving us HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS! all free! Just in time before the ground freezes. So next spring we will seed and put up a fence and make a nice yard.
All that dirt is now behind our garage....it is looking good so far......I will take pictures in the spring...it is sooooo muddy right now it is hard to get back there.
Look at the size of this truck!
