A Baby in the house

Sorry for the delay in posts....We have been busy busy busy....From the Kids having Doctors appointments, Family Reunion, and unfortunately a Funeral ....Brad and I have this week off for vacation. Usually we go to Maine for the week but now that we have the camp at the lake That is our vacation.....So we decided to take a few day trips ....Tomorrow we are off to the ocean for the day....Wednesday we are taking a Dinner cruise , We invited both our parents to come along with us...This should be a fun night. (I will be sure to take pictures of this) Thursday we are taking the girls to a water park......and Friday we will go to the County fair...Then Finally hopefully a little R&R for the rest of the weekend.......anyway a friend of our stopped over with her baby daughter for a visit yesterday. Each time I see her she gets bigger and bigger. Whitney will make a great babysitter one day. She is so Good with McKenzie. Tori is a certified babysitter.she took a babysitting course and learned CPR and first aid and received her Red Card. She has babysat just a few times so far so good. She has not had to perform what she was taught incase of an Emergency...Wendy only if we lived just a little bit Closer Tori could Watch Wes and Lani ! ( Maybe when we meet up in September! LOL)

I know some of you have been asking about Willow
Update on Willow........Whoo wheeee! We had a case of the Pug Bug here...Willow started to become back to her normal self in about 4-5 days...( that is a long time for diarrhea and vomiting) once she was back to normal...Belle came down with it. I called the vet to see if what Willow had was contagious. They did tell me yes Willow could of passed it on...they asked me to come in to pick up more Fortifloria for Belle. They also told me to give it to O.M. Turbo to catch it before he gets it. Along with Antibiotics.... after 2 days with Belle sick she bounced back quickly to her ol'self. Thank God ( Knock on Wood) O.M.Turbo didn't get it! I thought for sure he was coming down with it yesterday, he threw up 3-4 times yesterday morning. First one was in our bed at 5am...Brad got up with him and he was sick a few more times right after that. While Brad was with O.M. Turbo I stripped our bed and cleaned up the mess...put new sheets on climbed back in. When Brad left for work he brought Turbo back down and he went under the covers and slept until 9am and was not sick again. I think it was that he is not used to other foods rather than his normal diet, but, the vet told me to give them all fried hamburger and rice until the Pug Bug goes away....Poor lil Fella i figured it was the food change so I gave him his normal Wellness Senior Kibble with a scoop of Wellness Duck and Sweet-potato.
My Friend Dawn's Bull dog and Lab came down with it too....something going around in the canines I guess.....Not Pretty at all. I am just Happy that O.M.Turbo didn't get it.

Chichi now has Tiny along her side watching over us with their Angle wings.....Sweet Tiny was called home to be with Chichi over the rainbow bridge.......Rest well Sweet Tiny..... you will be missed. Hugs go out to you Sandy 1995-2007

The Lake

First off I would like to say we got O.M. Turbo micro Chipped! Now he is official! Both Willow and Belle are Chipped so I had the vet check to see if Turbo was....He was not so we went ahead and had him Protected....you never know...I rather be safe than sorry. So I made sure he was Chipped before we left for the lake.......

Whooo Weeee! We are back from the Lake....This was O.M. Turbo's first time there and her took over like he owned the place! He did great! He wasn't too fond of the Doggy Beach tho. I am guessing he is not a fan of the water. He loves to tromp around in the grass and go for walks. He was a big hit at the lake and met a lot of new faces. He even though Willow a new trick! When O.M. Turbo goes potty he will spin and kick grass like he is mowing the lawn....I think Willow must of seen him do it because now SHE DOES IT TOO! LoL Our walks are longer now because he wants to stop and smell everything. He really enjoys his walks.... They are waiting patiently for their evening walk........

O.M. Turbo ha met a special friend of Ours...Daisy May. ( My friend Dawns Old English Bull Dog) They really get along well.

They are such fun to take to the lake.... Wait til they find out we are on Vacation all next week! We will be there all week Long!

Turbo received a package in the mail !

Look what O.M Turbo got in the mail! He got his new Pupia Harness from the NEW YORK DOG SHOP! Now he is dressed like his sisters but more on the masculine side....

He looks So Proud to have a Camo Harness..........

Turbo gets to show it off at the vet this afternoon. We are going to see his Dr. because he has a cough that just does not sound good. so we are going to see if he picked up a cold I don't want to mess around with anything due to his age.

We have been to the vet alot this week. Willow has been there off and on for tests and fluids. She is doing much better. she is still not herself but showing improvement. She hates her new medication when I give her the pill she gets all foamy and frothy at the mouth. I keep telling he if she just would swallow it she wouldn't taste it. so today I dipped it in Berry Cream-cheese to help take the bad taste away but he ate the cream-cheese and spit out her pill. She did take it after awhile but she really let me know that she was not happy with me or the idea of taking a nasty tasting pill.

UPDATE ON TURBO'S VET APPOINTMENT TODAY......

He is on medication 2 times a day and is really good about taking it. I did what I do for Willow I put it in Berry Creme Cheese and he gobbles it right down! We go back to the Vet in 2 weeks for a follow up.

Kitchen Helpers

Each night when I prepare Dinner Belle would always be at my feet . She would not beg but she would just lay nearby and rest while I slave over the stove....Now that Turbo is with us he does the same thing so now 2 Pugs resting on the floor at my feet while I cook diner....Willow just sits on the sidelines and stays out of my way..she must see me walking over Belle and Turbo knowing that is is hard for me to get around with them there but, I make it work now I am used of them being there.

Why Belle lays like this is beyond me...it looks rather uncomfortable.

Today Tori Left for New York with her Grandmother for their annual summer Mini Vacation 3 nights. Tori her cousin "K" and her Best friend "H" are all going together ( My MIL is a Brave Lady! 3 13 year olds...yikes. I will post where they are staying and photos when she gets back...I bought her a digital camera for this trip...I wish I bought it for myself and gave her mine...I got her a Sony CyberShot...I Love it! I hope she takes nice pictures so I can post some when she gets home....She will only be home for one day then she leaves for Massachusetts for 3 nights to go visit her cousin. She is quite the social butterfly...I guess that is what 13-14 year olds do. RUN RUN RUN and ask for MONEY MONEY MONEY!

As for Willow......We were planning on heading over to the Lake for the rest of the week But Willow is too sick to go so we decided to stay home and let her get better before we bounce her around....We thought she was getting better late last night. Around 10pm she started vomiting again and she had diarrhea all night long again. I called the vet telling them she is still not eating and but is drinking a little water off and on..( this is only if I bring it to her. she really is not up for walking around.) While I was on the phone with he vet I was preparing a Fruit and yogurt Parfait and she took a liking to the yogurt. So I asked Marion ( the vet tech) if I could add her Fortiflora ( a powder to add to her white rice to help absorb bacteria). Marion gave me the okay to do so and she kept it down. Then I gave Willow her Antibiotic Pill and she kept that down too. ( Last night she threw it up) I carried her out to the New Pug yard but she found a bit of shade and and laid down and fell asleep. I brought her back in and she walked out on the back deck. ( thinking to myself...Oh no. she is going to be sick.) she actually jumped up on the patio chair and sat up and held her nose up in the air and sniffed the air. that is the most active he has been in 3 days! So right now she is sound asleep with Whitney on the sofa...they both fell asleep watching a Disney Show.......The vet wants us to bring Willow in tomorrow if she is sick through the night again ...Keep your fingers and paws crossed that we have a good night with out any quick runs up the stairs and out the back deck during the night and cleaning up messes. I have done that 2 nights in a row....Time for a good nights rest and a happy Spunky Willow tomorrow.

What a Loooooong Night

Don't I Look tired? This was me last night pulling an all nighter playing Nurse...... Last night around midnight Willow became so sick. She was sick every half hour , to an hour all night long. Willow sleeps with us and she kept having to hop off the bed and get sick..Now that our Bedroom is downstairs each time one of us felt her hop off the bed we had to hurry up and pick her up and run upstairs and take her out on the back deck. She wasn't throwing up but she had the WORST case of Diarrhea I have ever seen. This went on all night long Brad and I took turns helping her...Then it got to be too much when she started to show a lot of Blood in her stool...and My God The Smell was like a fermented Fish market! It took a lot out of us helping her all night. around 4am she started trembling and vomiting. so I wrapped her up in Tori's Monkey robe to keep her calm and warm. I knew the vet didn't open up until 8am so I waited until 6am to call. I got the Emergency Vet and they called the Dr on call. She called me asked me a few questions and told me to bring Willow in at 8am with a stool sample....Ya right!? Don't they know it was pure water?..... Thinking to myself...Gosh poor girl that is a long time to wait after being so sick during the night. Brad left for work around 6-6:30 all the kids were still asleep and I needed to take a shower so I pulled her bed into he bathroom beside the shower so I could keep an eye on her. I kept peeking around the shower curtain and I could see her little body tremble. Finally it was time to head to the vet...
Her Diagnosis is............
Infected anal glands along with a GI virus, BLAHHHHHHH

Poor lil Punkin. The vet prescribed her an antibiotic and FortiFlora to sprinkle over Rice. They also told me to add Metamucil into her rice.
She is home and is resting well She rests well while I am out in the heat with Hot water and Bleach rinsig off the Back deck....
...She wont eat anything but she does take a drink of water now and then. She looks pitiful..her ears are pasted back and her eyes are droopy. She is not feeling that well...Right now her and her Daddy are sound asleep...I hope we all have a better nights sleep tonight........... So I am off to bed too..seeing how I am running on only 3 hours sleep. and to think I have to get up for a early Morning Dentist appointment in the morning....Blahhhh! Nighty Night! ~YaWn~

She is worth the sleepless nights........and washing off the deck with Hot water and Bleach during the Hot afternoon......

I would do anything for this face..........

Who's Da'Man?

Who's Da'Man that gets to wear this sexy little garment? WhooWeee...Turbo got himself a StudPug Belly Band!

Now modeling his new UnderGarment.................

Its okay to laugh...when I first took this out of the package I did chuckle quite a bit....

We call it Turbo's Jock Strap.

When we first brought Turbo home he marked in different areas around the house. So I ran down street to the pet store to see if I could get a Belly band. They had only one to chose from and they were not nice looking at all. But I bought it anyway just to keep him from marking. I ordered this Belly Band from The New York Dog Shop and now that it came in the mail he no longer marks. But since he has not yet been tot he lake I think I am going to bring it there just incase he tried to mark his territory there....

I also ordered him a Camo Harness but that is back-ordered. Hopefully soon it will come in.

Thats what they can do now in their new Fenced in Pug Yard!

We decided today that we indeed needed a fenced in area for the Pugs to run and Play. SO today we went to Home Depot and bought a 25inch wire fence and bamboo to go around it....We attached it to our Pool fence all around out front so they can have a place to call their own. I dug out their little Pug pool and filled it with water. They all thought it was a big drinking Bowl! One of these days we plan on putting up a White Picket fence but for now this will do. We plan on doing a lot of changes to our Front yard this fall so we didnt want to get to involved with a permanent Fence...All in All the wire fence works Great! SO here are the 3 Fur Kids enjoying their new place.......
