Another Embarrassing day for Willow

What I am about to tell you is something that Willow really finds embarrassing....For quite a long time Willow has to go to the vet EVERY 2 weeks to get her Anal Glands expresses........there I said it. She has had a problem with them for at least the last 6 months she will spin until she is raw under her bottom. The vet has me add Metamucil in her food to help things in that area...unfortunately it is not helping her. I brought My husband last time she had her expression done hoping they could show him how to do it....OMG...there is no way .....can I say Gross. I was trying so hard not to gag...the smell is Horrible and with all honestly my stomach can't take that. so it is worth us to pay them the $22. oo every 2 weeks...anyway during this visit it was brought up having her anal glands removed...( I said like a tonsillectomy???) they I guess remove these glands if it is necessary...so here is something else Poor Willow may have to experience....I really need to think about it...she doesn't seem to be in pain she just scoots and spins at the end of her 2 weeks of being expressed then is fine afterwards..( for another 2 weeks) So that is the scoop on *STINKY Willow* Has any one ever have to have their Pug or ( any dog) expressed? not a fun thing and it is certainly a smelly process....I drove home today with all my windows down and stopped to get a Yankee Candle air fresher because my car still had a faint smell..Poor Willow she Is Humiliated Willow is Horrified to see what I just posted about her..........

I just bought this large Magnet at Petco..........Willow tends to think it is real she often barks at it....Pretty funny
